Mohawk Chief Says Eviction of Non-Natives (those not having FOUR Mohawk grandparents) from community not ethnic cleansing.

MONTREAL – The Mohawk grand chief of the Kahnawake reserve south of Montreal doesn’t like hearing comments that describe the upcoming eviction non-natives from his community as "ethnic cleansing."

As many as 26 residents considered "non-native" are being forced from the reserve, receiving eviction notices informing them they have 10 days to leave.

Grand Chief Mike Delisle says it’s always been clear that Mohawks living on the reserve must leave the territory if they marry outside the community.

"People out in the exterior Canadian society should educate themselves before they formulate their own opinion," he said in an interview with The Canadian Press.

"This isn’t about ethnic cleansing. It’s about self-preservation."

The community declared a moratorium on mixed marriages in 1981 and after consultations, a Mohawk membership law was formalized in 1984 and then updated with 2004.

Delisle says the band council is just asking people to abide by the law.

"We’re not looking to be anything like what is being described as the Third Reich or any part of Nazi government," Delisle said Thursday. "We’re not killing people."

…"They say it’s about time and ‘get these white people out of here’ and then there are people who say we can’t do this and the tension is building."

Deer, who is married to a Mohawk, says she can’t see how the community will become stronger by splitting up people who are in romantic relationships – some for as long as ten years.

…"It’s a horrible burden to grow up knowing you have to choose possibly between love with a fellow human being or my community, where my family, my culture and my home is." she said.

Delisle argues that the contentious issue of the eviction of non-natives is not new, noting that it has come up in the past – in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.

He also points to an online poll that suggests more than 60 per cent of the community supports the actions being taken.

…he hints there may be more evictions among the population of 8,000 in the future.

"There are other diverse issues that are going to come up with families that have been here for a long time," he said.

"This is the beginning of where we’re going to go, I’m not sure where it’s going to end."

Sandra Schurman, 44, has lived in Kahnawake all her life, and even though she’s recognized by the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs as a status Indian, she is not in the Mohawk membership registry.

She was rejected for membership because she did not meet the 2004 law that requires a person to have at least four Mohawk great grandparents.

Schurman, whose 67-year-old mother married a white man, was rejected because elders ruled only three-and-a-half of her four grandparents are native.

Her mother and father, who’s 73, are still living on the reserve.

Schurman may be the next in line to be evicted, but she doesn’t see it happening.

"If they try to evict me they’re going to have to evict every half-breed in Kahnawake and the town would be half empty," she said.

Schurman said there are at least a couple of hundred of people on the reserve with Mohawk mothers and non-native fathers.

"I’m waiting for all this unfairness to someday be over with," she said.

Read it all…

Well lookie here: It seems that all is not as it seems in the "”pure blood” of the Kawanake Mohawk!

“The complex history of Kahnawake has included some European settlement since the reserve land was "donated" by the French Crown in the mid-1600s. Through the First Nations’ adoption of captives, the government’s stationing of French colonial troops (who formed liaisons with local women and had children by them), the establishment of shopkeepers, and many marriages between white men and Indian women through the 18th century, many Kahnawake people became related to people of French, Scots and Irish descent.[20] In other areas, such Métis have formed a separate ethnic group. By the 1790s and early 1800s, visitors often described the "great mixture of blood" at Kahnawake. They noted the many "pure" white children being brought up as Indian.[21]

Names such as Beauvais, D’Ailleboust, de La Ronde Thibaudière, Delisle, de Lorimier, Giasson, Johnson, Mailloux, McComber, McGregor, Montour, Phillips, Rice, Stacey, Tarbell, and Williams are still present in Kahnawake today. They suggest the mixture of ancestry through adoption and intermarriage with non-Natives. The Tarbell ancestors, for instance, were John and Zachary, brothers captured as young children from Groton, Massachusetts in 1707 during Queen Anne’s War and taken to Canada. They were adopted by Mohawk families in Kahnawake and became thoroughly assimilated. They converted to Catholicism, married women who were daughters of chiefs, reared children with them, and became chiefs themselves”

That puts slightly different light on their “Four Full Blood Grandparents Rule”, now doesn’t it.

This Could Almost Make Me An Anti-Semite!

I am so jealous! Imagine a whole COUNTRY filled with people who belong to a culture that has cornered the market on the Comedy Writing gene!  Too funny, and the more you know of the history of the region the funnier it gets.

The EDL, What Is So Right-Wing About This Group?

    DefendingWesternCivSm

(GDeW) Here is the English Defense Leagues Mission Statement. What is there to get upset about?

Who are the English Defence League? Exposing the myths

We the English Defence League are a grass roots social movement who represent every walk of life, every race, every creed and every colour from the working class to middle England our unity and diversity is our strength. We have members that represent our rich and cultural “patriotic” nation loving populace who can see the threat of “Islamism” for what it is, that is a vile and virulent ideology based off of 7th century barbarity, intolerance, hatred, subjugation and war.

The English Defence League members recognise this threat as one that must be stopped at all costs, our Christian, Jewish, Sikh, and Hindu friends all have tales to tell with regard to Islamic Imperialism and “Orthodox Teachings”, in particular the Wahhabi/Salafi doctrine of “killing unbelievers if they refuse to be subdued by Islam” as the Quran points out in surah 5 verse 33…….

“The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter”

Of course this all depends on the context of what “waging war” entails, and of course what constitutes “mischief in the land”. Well to Islamists the very notion of not believing in Allah means that you should be punished as that is considered an act of war, an act of mischief that should be duly punished as Allah ordains clearly here in this verse.

As a movement we don’t hate on all Muslims, we respect their right to practice their religion peacefully as long as it does not infringe on our culture, our way of life, our rule of law and our customs. If any non Muslim was to visit a Muslim country then that person would be expected to respect their rule of law, their culture, their way of life and who would disagree with that? What we don’t agree with are Muslims trying to import a doctrine of hate, intolerance and murder, then try to promote it and institutionalise it through unregulated Mosques that are funded by Wahhabist petro dollars as it stealthily creeps sharia into our legal system. This Islamic legal system persecutes women to the mere status of a man’s “property”. It does not recognise marital rape, it does not recognise gay rights, it does not recognise many factors contained in the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights. We have had enough, why should anyone tolerate intolerance?

Again we must re-iterate that we do not have any problem with law abiding, respectful, peaceful Muslims who integrate and contribute positively in society, Muslims who love and respect our country are welcome. The EDL was never set up to discriminate against all Muslims.

We get asked many times by many different organisations and many different people what are the reasons for the English Defence Leagues existence? What are our goals, and aspirations?

We exist simply to pursue and extinguish an Islamist scourge, a scourge that has been left to fester and multiply like a malignant social cancer, with little intervention from our government who are at best apathetic, at worst they are willingly blind to the threat of militant Islam. When Anjem Choudary and his jihadist cohorts shouted abuse at our soldiers returning home from Iraq the united people of Luton took a stand against them, it was from that point onwards the British people united under one cause to highlight the danger of appeasing those who wish us harm, those who happily take from our welfare system yet hate our country, our people and way of life. You may follow these events from this link here……

If it were not for the inaction of government to deal properly with this form of Islamic fascism there would be no need for groups such as The English Defence League, Welsh Defence League, Scottish Defence League and Ulster Defence League to counter this threat on the streets and on-line. Appeasing those who follow an ideology of hatred, murder and intolerance hardly enhances “community cohesion”, it destroys it. Our movement is purely set up to pressure whatever government we have in power to deal with this menace and undo all the damage caused by apathy and appeasement. We oppose the introduction of sharia law into our legal system because sharia law allows a husband to “beat” his wife! Is that acceptable behaviour in the 21st century we ask????

We oppose the building of any more mosques until the problem of Islamism is dealt with. Mosques must be regulated properly, imams vetted for their suitability, and mosque attendees monitored for any radical inclination. The change has to start within the Muslim community but that is proving very hard when Saudi petro dollars are funding a “fundamental” interpretation of Islam within the United Kingdom Of Great Britain. We want our country back!!!

Here is a good example as to the reasons why we don’t want any more Mosques built until these issues have been effectively dealt with. This article is written by a former radical Muslim by the name of Ed Husain…..

Notice what he says and i quote from his article in the Times……

“We found that 97 per cent of imams, or leaders, were from overseas and 92 per cent were educated abroad, mostly in Pakistan or Bangladesh. Almost all mosques are controlled by first-generation immigrant men, leaving most British Muslims – women and young people – out of the management structure.”

If this isn’t enough to wake up weak governance then what is?

The EDL are wrongly painted as racists, Nazis and Muslim haters. This simply isn’t true. We do know that some groups have tried to cause trouble, and that some “agent provocateurs” have instigated trouble, groups such as Combat 18, Blood And Honour, Antifa, UAF, their Communist sympathisers and anarchists. As a movement we have been attacked by the far left and the far right, we have had to endure a state sponsored smear campaign used against us from the offset by the state controlled political elite media machine. Apparently we are Nazis because we love our country, because we have the backbone to stand firm in the face of Islamic adversity rather than ignore it, hoping it will go away.

We set out our stall very early on, we are not racist, we don’t like Nazis, we don’t want Nazis joining our demos. We embrace patriotism as something that transcends race, religion, creed and colour. A love for our country is not a crime, a love for freedom is not a crime, but a need for security and the removal of those who pose a threat is just common sense……. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkKmzNpUBM4

The EDL are a multi ethnic, multi religious movement and we are proud of that. We laugh at all those who attack us for being “race traitors”, we mock those who call us “Nazis and racists” we are the EDL, we are neither of those things, we never will be. In fact our main speaker at demonstrations, Guramit Singh is a Sikh of Indian origin. The far left dismissed him as an "uncle Tom", a phrase which I would find quite offensive. This is a tone they have adopted when referring to any of our members who are not "white" in order for them to continue with their campaign against us.

People also ask us if we will ever become a political party and the answer to that is, we don’t seek to become a political party, we support political parties who will deal with the threat of Islamism, our aim and focus is to put pressure on whatever government is in power to deal effectively with this cancer. For far too long this government has ignored its people, now its people demand to be heard in this bastion of democracy. Freedom of speech shall prevail, we will be supporting Geert Wilders on his visit to our country to show his film fitna after our government turned him away on the first attempt. Our government holds its people in contempt and we will not tolerate this any longer. Good governance is achieved by listening to the people and working for the people.

It is during these tenuous times where we look to our American brothers and sisters for help and support, we see EDL members imprisoned for very “minor” offences, then thrown in jail only to be beaten by known Islamic terrorists gangs. It is as if the government want to intimidate us into silence, however we will not be intimidated, we will never surrender.

We hear of people of all colours getting beaten up by Muslim gangs on the streets just because they are non Muslim and our government turn a blind eye to this!!! We will open their eyes, we will make them listen, we won’t accept anything less than concrete action that yields very visible results. They have got us into this mess so it is down to them to clean it up.

    Long live the free,
    Trevor Kelway.

More From MemriTV: Saudi Cleric Muhammad Musa Al-Sharif Defends the Marrying Off of Under-Age Girls in Saudi Arabia

    child_bride-nujoud-al-ahdal
(GDeW) Does this guy’s brain ever hurt from all the double-think?  Has he ever looked in the mirror and thought “If it weren’t for Islam, I could be mistaken for  a horrifically callous and evil excuse for a Human Being?  What is interesting is how the interviewer is fairly unashamedly pro-Western for a Saudi.  Saudi Media DOES have some strong moderates, but they have to let the lunatics carrying Korans have the last and authoritative word.  This doesn’t stop them from asking some uncomfortable questions that make the Imams expose their self-serving hypocrisy though.
Arabic media is a little like the Japanese, what seems like a mild agreement to us, is read as sarcastic opposition by the locals.  Thank bog for MemriTV! (bolding added)
“Following are excerpts from an interview with Saudi cleric Muhammad Musa Al-Sharif, which aired on Al-Daleel TV on February 19, 2010.

Interviewer: One is astonished to hear, in a social gathering, an old man bragging about marrying a young girl, and boasting that his bride was given to him as a gift from her father, or that a business deal was struck at the expense of this poor girl, by parents who did not care about her childhood innocence or her humanity, or by parents whose poverty forced them to pay the old man with their daughter.

In today, show, I will ask my guest, Dr. Al-Sharif, whether it is the right of the parents, or of society, to allow a girl to be married off at the age of 10 or 12 years. the law in the civilized world considers these marriages to be a crime. How are they viewed by our religious law?”

(GDeW) For Saudi society that is practically a scathing diatribe against the practice; it is fairly obvious from the video that he is in now way putting verbal “quotes” around the words civilized world!  But, though he is the interviewer, the good(?) doctor gets to have the last word.

    “[…]

Muhammad Musa Al-Sharif: This issue has been blown entirely out of proportion, and there is confusion about its basics. We say that such a girl is a "minor," but dictionaries do not define a girl as a minor, if she has reached puberty. ‘Aisha said that when a girl reaches the age of nine, she becomes a woman. …”

(GDeW) Here is revealed the fundamental difference between the Western view, like the interviewer, and the Islamic view.  To the Dr. if a book that is to be followed says 1+2=3 then it is 3, but if it say that 1+2=6 it is still to be followed.  Time and again we can see Imams and Islamic scholars telling us that it is NOT EVEN OUR RIGHT TO ASK “WHY” in reference to ANY of their sanctioned laws.

This mindset infect a small but influential minority of Jews and Christians as well. Fortunately those religions do not have scriptural hooks lining every surface  upon which to hang a legalistic lack of personal ethics, compassion, or empathy.

Muhammad Musa Al-Sharif: What is the percentage of these marriages in Saudi Arabia? In Saudi Arabia, we have 20 million people. Half of them are women – that’s 10 million. According to the most extreme statistics I have read, 3,000 girls under the age of 13 were married off to men more than 20 years their senior. That’s 3,000 out of 10 million, more or less.”

(GDeW) I wonder, does he really think people are that stupid? Later he talks about a treaty that puts the age limit at 18. He also limits his numbers to those who marry men more than twenty years older!  This statistical dishonesty limits his pool of “victims” considerably! All marriages of girls from 13 – 17 years old to men up to 42 – 47 years in age are excluded!  Let us see a graph of Saudi society of marriage ages, male and female and see how the slopes run.

Muhammad Musa Al-Sharif: What does this figure mean?”

(GDeW) I would say that it means you are dishonest with statistics, as well as being an empty sack when it comes to empathy.

“Interviewer: But don’t you think that 3,000 is…

Muhammad Musa Al-Sharif: Allow me… Does 3,000 out of 10 million constitute a social phenomenon?

Interviewer: But even these 3,000 girls have rights.

    Muhammad Musa Al-Sharif: Undoubtedly.

Interviewer: We should consider the humane aspect, even if there were only three girls.

    […]”

(GDeW) That was a clear score for the interviewer. This is a CLERGYMAN, who just got smacked in the face by a TV layman, on what would be an essential point to just about any other religious leader. The Dr. wanted to only care about the girls if they constituted a “social Phenomenon”, whatever that means.  He just wanted them to go away. They are not real, individual humans to him. They are simply inconvenient obstacles to his living in a dream world.

“Muhammad Musa Al-Sharif: In many newspapers, it has been suggested that the minimum age for marriage should be 18. Why 18? They said that Saudi Arabia is committed to something called the Human Rights Treaty, which set the minimum age for marriage at 18 years. This is, of course, unacceptable.

    Interviewer: Why not?”

(GDeW) A very good question, I would like to hear the answer… too bad the good Dr. does not give one. However, he does try a  flurry  of irrelevant counter-punches as a distraction.

“Muhammad Musa Al-Sharif: I read that the official spokesman for the US government said that the US is worried about the marriage of girls in Saudi Arabia. This is really funny. The rate of child prostitution in American and Western societies is enormous. This is a well-known fact.

Second, all the children whose death was caused by the US in Palestine and Iraq… These people are not ashamed to say that they are worried about Saudi Arabia, even though they caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of children in Palestine and in Iraq. This is really distorted logic.”

(GDeW)  I could do an entire SERIES on the lies and factual distortions and omissions in those two paragraphs!

“Muhammad Musa Al-Sharif:  Third, when Islamic law refers to a certain issue – we don’t need human rights.”

(GDeW)  There it is, right on the table. If you have Islam you are covered, no need for silly things like human rights. And no need to mention the rampant rape and child abuse in the Kingdom.  That would only confuse the poor, silly people.

    Saudi Arabian Islamic algorithm:

#1 The sanctioned authority is the final authority.

#2 if any moral questions arise, see #1.

#3 If you disagree with the answer, YOU are wrong, see #1

#3 Repeat until you stop having your own morals or ethics, and run to your Imam at the drop of a conundrum.

    “[…]

Muhammad Musa Al-Sharif: Let’s assume that there is a 13-year-old girl… Let’s make it 14. her father sees that she is physically developed, has reached puberty, and has a sense of understanding – nothing in Islamic law prevents him from marrying her off.”

    […]

Let’s assume that the government listens to these people, God forbid, and sets the minimum age for marriage at 18. There are many good girls who, at the age of 13 or 14, are developed and ready for marriage. There are hundreds of thousands of girls like that in our society. They will not be married off. They will have to wait 3 or 4 years to become 18. This constitutes an injustice to such a large sector of society – compared to the several dozens or hundreds of girls who would be wronged, because of the greed of their fathers.”

(GDeW)  Well, that hurt. I don’t know about the rest of you but I am SO ashamed of my willingness to deprive those HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of 7th and 8th grade (assuming they are allowed to go to school) girls their HUMAN RIGHT to be the servant and sex toy of a man up to 43 years of age!  How can I even THINK of all that accumulative joy eliminated merely because I was concerned about the dozens or hundreds beaten, raped and abused by BAD fathers and husbands.  Shame on us all!

(Sarcasm module disengaging – overload: must shut down)

    “[…]

We are committed to international treaties as long as they do not violate Islamic law. If they violate Islamic law, we should throw them out, because they are not worth the ink they were written with. With all due respect, the international treaties are worthless.”

(GDeW) I can just picture the leadership of S.A. seeing him say this and and thinking: “Of course it is true, but do you have to come out and TELL people? Someone might be listening!”  Someone like MemriTV maybe?

    “[…]

Who is responsible for the human rights and international treaties? The atheists, the Christians, and the fornicators, with all due respect.”

(GDeW) And on that note, notice is given that ALL decent folks do what the Imams say, refusing to listen to those evil outsiders; and all is well in the sandy Kingdom for another night.   Yet in dozens, and hundreds, and more probably hundreds of thousands of beds, flow the silent tears of Saudi children when the shadow of their “husband” crosses their face.

    Lebanon: Told Ya, Virginia!

(GDeW) Here is a transcript from MemriTV of a Future TV (Lebanon) News feature about:

“Lebanese Villagers Complain about a Nearby Palestinian Military Base”

Please notice that even the most sheep-like of the villagers does NOT seem to blame Israel at all for bombing them, given that renegade Palestinians use their CIVILIAN lands to hide in, knowing the Israeli reluctance to apply indiscriminate force.

“The following are excerpts from a TV report on the Lebanese village of Al-Naameh, which aired on Future News TV on January 24, 2010.

Reporter: When the village in which we grew up becomes an alien place, in whose streets and neighborhoods we are afraid to walk, and when political and military interests take precedence over the rights of citizens, who are denied the right to refuse … This is the condition of the houses of the people of the Al-Naameh village, which is located above the tunnels of a Palestinian military base.

Al-Naameh resident: It is like we are under arrest in a big prison. There is nowhere to go.

Al-Naameh resident: We are suffering. We can’t go in or out. Our children are afraid of them[the Palestinian “soldiers”]. We feel like the village isn’t ours.

Al-Naameh resident: Of course, its’ not our fault, but… You want me to say something? The leaders should say something.

Al-Naameh resident: Their very presence scares us. We live in constant fear.

Al-Naameh resident: We have no freedom, you understand? We cannot go anywhere.

Al-Naameh resident: They pose a threat to the entire region, not just to Al-Naameh. We are not allowed to go up. We are forbidden. They have weapons, and they say: "You’re not allowed to go up." Those are weapons for the liberation of Palestine?

Al-Naameh resident: This is an industrial region, but all the plants are shut down. …

Al-Naameh resident: Why is there a military post here? They can’t liberate Palestine from here, or anything. They have a military post here so they can hide corrupt people. They hide thieves and killers here.

    […]

Reporter: The villagers are always paying the price for the wars of others. Their village is constantly being bombarded by Israel, which follows the military posts closely. Their security has become linked to the Israeli raids, waiting for the next war or for the bombardment of the military posts, which are located on their lands, and beneath the homes of the innocent villagers of Al-Naameh.

Al-Naameh resident: Because of them [Palestinians], the planes come and bombard us. Our homes are cracked, our furniture destroyed, and nobody cares about us

Al-Naameh resident: Because of them, the [Israeli] planes come, and our homes are destroyed

Al-Naameh resident: When the planes come, there is nowhere to hide. If there were no Palestinians here, nobody would be bombing us. Let the army come in, or the police, or whoever. It doesn’t matter.”

    See It All…

(GDeW) I do not think we will be seeing a special about this on CBS anytime soon. Welcome to 2010: when The Matrix meets Chinatown, and Mr. Smith Gets Raped in Washington

Translating Jihad: Is Obama a Muslim or an Apostate?

    idolater

(GDeW) Thanks to Jihad Watch for bringing this to my attention.  I agree with the conclusions, why doesn’t Obama just stand up and BE an apostate?  It certainly would not hurt him in the polls.

Translating Jihad has a nice bit from the al-Watan Voice translated from the Arabic:

“Certainly a valid question, if you understand Islamic law at all.  The author makes a couple of good points:  first, according to Islamic doctrine, all children are naturally born Muslim; second, Muslims are not held culpable for straying from Islam until they reach puberty.  Since Obama was born Muslim, as apparently all of us are, he then only has three options:  stay Muslim, apostatize before puberty (not a capital crime) or after puberty (capital crime).  The author seems to believe that Obama was a Muslim too long to have the third option (the article points that he went to Jakarta when he was at least 11, and then studied in an Islamic madrasa for two more years after that), leaving him only the first two options, i.e. he is either a Muslim or an apostate.  Makes sense to me.  To be honest, I would respect the President a lot more if he were a committed apostate, who could stand up and tell us proudly that he did leave Islam and explain to us why he chose Christianity over Islam…

Is President Obama a Muslim or an Apostate?
by Mu’ammar Ahmad ‘Abd-al-Latif Rajeh, for the Watan Voice
    30 January 2010
    * * *

… [Obama] was born in Hawaii to a Kenyan father and a white American mother from the state of Kansas.  His parents separated when he was in his twelfth year…

…Obama was enrolled in an Islamic madrasa for two years, then later joined a Catholic school.
Obama converted to Christianity in the United Christian Church…

…Islamic law stipulates that if a child is born with either one or both of his parents being Muslim, then the child’s religion will also be Muslim. …

…Through these Islamic judgments, in comparison with the autobiography of President Barack Hussein Obama, we find that this president is either a Muslim or an apostate from Islam according to the strongest viewpoints of Islamic jurisprudence.”

The Untold Moderate Success Story (almost) of the Middle East

(GeDw) Here is a little tale that ALL hard core partisans will avoid spreading around.  It takes away their certainty that only conflict will solve the world’s problems.

In a way conflict IS what is solving this one, the weariness and disgust of the people WITH the conflict that is.  Just as in Ireland, the Middle Easy may finally weary of war.

And since I love to teak noses on both sides of the aisle it is too much to ask for me to not tweak them at the same time.  Take it away Michael Totten at Spirit of America:

    “Why Lebanon Matters

Lebanon may be the only place in the world where you can buy a necklace with a Christian cross and a Muslim crescent moon fused together as one. What other country would even think of making something like this? I’ve never seen one before. But now I own two.

    (see caption below)

Lebanon is approximately 40 percent Christian and 60 percent Muslim – that is if you count the Druze as Muslims, something they themselves don’t do. Most people who live here – but sadly not all – have had enough of hatred and sectarian violence. They desperately want to bury the past. They spent the last 15 years learning to tolerate one another without going on rampages. Now they are moving beyond mere tolerance and are learning to like each other. It’s so easy to break a truce. Much harder to break a friendship.

Beirut may not be the only place in the world where you can find a church and a mosque right next to each other. But it’s certainly a more common sight here than anywhere else. No other country has so Christians and Muslims living in the same place that you’ll regularly hear both Christian church bells and the muezzin’s call to Muslim prayer downtown at the same time.

Palestinian President Warns Of ‘Religious War’

1920 Arabs attacked Jews native to Judea and Samaria and newcomers

1930’s Arab guerilla warfare aimed at ethnic cleansing of Jews

1947 UN pares down the Mandate UNANIMOUSLY assigned for Jewish homeland; make Jordan and Lebanon, and parts of several other Arab nations – JORDAN IS A MOSTLY PALESTINIAN STATE, but doesn’t want the ones in the West Bank, they are more useful where they are…and have been kept there for 60 years by Arab Leaders

1947 the majority of Arabs who flee do so at the orders of their leaders or voluntarily, 5 Arab nations attack Israel illegally.

1947-1948 5 Arab nations defeated shamefully by a small, out gunned Israel, losing large territories but, retain “the West Bank”; proceeded to violate the ceasefire almost at once

1967 Egypt announces intention to destroy Israel, commits casa beli by blockading Israeli shipping, sends the majority of its forces to the border, they coerce the UN peacekeepers to withdraw, and invite all other Arab nations to join in eliminating Israel, who shows that it is not stupid, and attacks before Arabs fully deployed; 3 Arab nation again are defeated after attacking a peaceful nation

1972 group linked to Arafat and Fatah, slaughters nine Israeli Olympic athletes

1973 3 Arab nations again attack Israel; Israel defends itself against illegal, religiously “justified” war crimes

Should I go on? Open a history book, find who did what to who, how many were killed, then pretend it is ISRAEL who is the “aggressor”

Who is Guy DeWhitney? What is The Heretics Crusade?

It has been just over a year since I started this blog.  Despite numerous distractions and diversion it has been a good year for the blog, if not for our sadly Post-Enlightenment PC culture.  I take this opportunity to repost an updated version of my second post explaining why I had begun a project like Heretics Crusade.

    cRUSADE

Why start this blog now? Aren’t there enough "they’re out to get us" blogs? Yes, there are too many RADICAL blogs on the Left AND Right. It is time to let the Moderate Majority have their say.

Despite what it might look like in these times, the focus of this blog is NOT Muslims. It is  focused on exposing and answering ALL serious efforts at instilling totalitarian controls onto free Western society.

In school Thomas Jefferson was my greatest American Hero. My opinion has not changed on that in over 30 years.  Beginning with the Phoenicians, then three waves of Greeks, The Etruscans, the Romans, the Celts, The Gauls, etc., etc., etc., migration after migration of peoples left the Far East.

They Left behind a land where the Whole is more important than the parts, to found nations where the individual and his or her contribution to society would matter. Greece, Rome, England, America a great rolling progression of Enlightenment values growing and evolving toward a bright future where every is able to have peace and safety and above all, a voice.

I sit here writing in Southern California, at the peak of the Western Wave. I feel the momentum and legacy of the millions behind me who sweated and bled and died to put me here. It is my responsibility to do all I can to see that their legacy does not fail. That the barbarians never again "sack Rome" allowing the advent of another dark age.

For long in the 80’s I found myself concerned with keeping an eye on, and talking about, radical Christian efforts in this country to edge our culture into a theocracy. While this movement seems to have peaked a year or so before the end of the reign of Bush II there are still folks dedicated to putting God in the classroom, creationism in our books and demonizing gays and abortion.

Currently the project near and dear to their hearts that concerns me the most is efforts by conservative Christian organizations to co opt the Air Force as a proselytizing force. Needless to say I do not view this objective lightly.

I also watched with some worry activities by the Soviet Union and China. Then, the Soviets collapsed, and it seemed that the only thing to seriously worry about besides our few fanatics was the possibility of China becoming aggressively expansionist (not a likely event).

Sept 11th 2001 changed that. Like just about everyone else I was somewhat aware that the "Muslim World" was something less than civilized to my jaded California standards but figured that as long as they didn’t poop in my backyard I had no reason to spy into theirs. Then the thousand Great Dane sized load of FU landed in New York, D.C. and Penn.  and I thought that maybe it was time to look into this Islam thing.

In exploring the information available it took a long time to vet the sources before I could trust them. A large obstacle to this was that fact that, like Soviet Communism, the people who first saw things as they were came from the far right of the political spectrum. Just as McCarthy was totally wrong in how he dealt with things, he was totally right about the extent of Soviet infiltration in the government, and Hollywood. We find today a number of unsavory voices shouting to the rooftops a message the basics of which everyone should hear does more to make people constructively deaf than convert them to reality. People look at who is talking, and ask why they should listen to such voices on THIS subject.

For the record, the pillars of civilization that I regard as inviolable are: Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, equal treatment before the law of everyone; men and women, regardless of race, creed or sexuality. I support the right to bear arms, and have served with pride in the armed forces of my nation but, I oppose the very concept of a "draft". I feel that any nation that cannot fight it’s battles with a volunteer army has no right to fight them. And this includes wars of defense.

I support the right to abortion but, cannot support late term abortion in any but blatantly cut and dired cases, which I have yet to EVER hear of.

In general I regard myself as a leftish moderate who is not afraid of guns. Anyone who tries to peg me into a political category from one or two opinions is almost certain to be wrong. In fact I refuse to identify with any party since a party is nothing more than a slate of opinions pre-packaged to avoid a voter’s having to take on that horrible job: thought.

In the course of this blog I will be posting articles and videos of all sorts that highlight both the fight of totalitarians to blind and enslave us, as well as the efforts of those who will not be bound or controlled to keep the West free in mind and soul.

And yes Virginia, I EXPECT to get attacked from the partisans on BOTH sides.  All I have to say is; AVANT Crusader, AVANT!
