Gaza Under Seige: Arab Leaders Slowly Strangeling Strip

CarterHamas

Gaza is under seige they tell me. An unjust blockade of the most vital basic nessecities. Life itself in the prison camp called the The Strip has been reduced to a bare struggle for the Palestinian-in-the-Streets’ survival…Loud sound of a record album being pulled off a record player (yes, I know this dates me)

There is something wrong with this picture Virginia! All is not as it is being presented to us regarding the situation in Gaza.

But what about the starving Palestinians, the empty shops, the crumbling infrastructure with no materials for repairs you ask? Surely THAT is a sure sign the Israelis are horribly unfair?

It would be Virginian, if that were the whole picture; come with me on a journey to a far, far land only told of by UN officials, activists and terror-friendly press called Gaza City. From our friendly tourist guide, the CIA World Factbook we can find out some interesting information about this “people undergoing genocide” called the Palestinians: The Gaza strip is 360 sq km is area with a population over 1.6 million; it has an overall population density 1.3 times that of Washington, DC! It is a “stone’s throw” from any neighborhood to any other. Let us look at the squallor that the mean and nasty Israelis enforce upon the “refugees“…

Ooops! I am sorry, that is a picture from the website of the Roots luxury dining complex in Gaza city.   Even those who are against the blockade are hard pressed to justify their support for Hamas:

“Meanwhile, tunnels built under the Gaza-Egypt border haul in scarce goods at inflated prices, enriching smugglers and Hamas, which taxes the trade. Gaza markets are filled with smuggled products like chocolate sauce and shiny children’s shoes that most residents cannot afford.
Hamas officials have used smuggled cement to rebuild the notorious Ansar prison where they detain their rivals, and are currently building a shopping center.”

Now where did I put those pictures of the other “Palestinians”? Oh, here they are:

You can be sure that Hamas won’t be staging any attacks in the Roots complex; someone who matters might get hurt!

This morning a flotilla of “humanitarian aide” was intercepted (as expected) heading to a showpiece landing in “ethnically cleansed” Gaza.  Someone must not have given some Turks on board the skinny on the rules of such things; make a lot of noise, attack boldly, cower in terror and go quietly when caught, crow of your victory to the crowds back home. Instead these wonderbrains decided to attack commandos with handguns, knives, clubs and weight of numbers. The video footage is unequivocal!

End result, several wounded and injured commandos and several very dead Turkish “peace activists.” Forgive me if I am less than moved by their plight.  IF they had behaved they might have been allowed to attend the celebrations at The Greens in the Roots complex:

Or they might have been able to shop in the same store that Tony Blair’s Activist-in-Law did when SHE brought in her much needed (for propaganda purposes) “humanitarian aide.”

Here she is, name here, shopping with satisfaction the packed shelves of a Gazan store, begining to understand just how effective the Palestinian “Big Lie” has been; her money quote?

“Yesterday, I visited mothers of children under the age of five. Nutrition here has deteriorated threefold over the last two years because it is impossible to bring food through the crossings. Unemployment has risen, so people can’t even afford to buy what food there is left.”

When asked about Israel’s right to respond to incessant attacks emanating from Gaza, Booth evoked Holocaust-related rhetoric. “There is no right to punish people this way. There is no justification for this kind of collective punishment. You were in the concentration camps, and I can’t believe that you are allowing the creation of such a camp yourselves.”

The Palestinians’ suffering is physical, mental and emotional,” she went on, “there is not a family here in which someone is not in desperate need of work, shelter or food. This is a humanitarian crisis on the scale of Darfur.” Darfur, now where have I heard that name before, oh yeah, here it is:

Wow, it is kind of freaky how similar they are; take a look for yourself, it will give you shivers:

Who is right and who is wrong in Gaza?  The facts speak for themselves if you are willing to open your eyes and put down the lobster tail and look at them.
